Chris,
That's a great looking car and that is the color I would choose if I were to get one. I had the opportunity to sit in one a couple of weeks ago and found that there was very little head room. I doubt that I could have worn my helmet without it contacting the roof. I am almost 6'2". Have you found anything else about the car that you don't like?

Funny you should only ask about what I have found that I don’t like. Although I would guess the likes are pretty obvious. Anyway, here’s a rundown of my impressions of the car…likes and dislikes.
Dislikes:
- Attracts a crowd…and you thought the Viper was a showstopper. You will always have a pack of cars around you on the freeway and a crowd around the car when you park it. Especially when you pull into a gas station.
- The ‘A’ pillar is pretty wide, on tight left corners you will find your self looking through the side window at times to see around it.
- Visibility in the rear quarters is tough, though not as tough as my Lotus. Just adjust the side view mirrors properly and you should be OK, but just barely OK. View out the rear view mirror is limited but adequate.
- You need three feet of side clearance to get in and out of the car (I measured it). I NEVER park that close to anyone anyway, but still three feet of clearance keeps you from parking right up against a hedge or building for “protection”.
- The turning radius is pretty wide.
- There is absolutely no where to store anything inside the car, a couple of mesh pockets are it. The front trunk is tiny.
Likes:
- Gotta love that body! Fit, finish and paint are top notch.
- Made in the good ol’ USA
- Incredible power, linear and broad across the power band.
- Light and easy to modulate clutch.
- Very quick turn in and handling is razor precise. Lateral G’s will give you nose bleed.
- Supercharger sound is to die for.
- Tires have enormous grip. While it is hard to break the rears free, it is not squirrelly at all when you do. Brakes are great too though I believe a Viper will out brake it.
- A/C will freeze you out of the car. No heat problems at all.
- Pretty decent stereo (if you ever turn it on).
- Very exclusive. I have never seen another one on the road. I'd bet that half of these cars are in the hands of serious collectors that will rarely if ever drive or track the car.
I am 6'0" and I fit in the car with a helmet on without problem. There is plenty of seat travel and I would guess you could tilt the seat back to give you additional head room if you needed it. Leg room is not an issue. The car is plenty big inside.
I would not recommend the Ford GT as a daily driver. Aside from the lack of storage for anything, the car attracts way too much attention. Given the turning radius at low speeds I’d be afraid of curbing the wheels at fast food and bank drive through lanes. Save yourself the aggravation and pick something else for your daily commute.
