Hi everybody!! Just got back from the Disney 3v3 Soccer National Championship held at the Wide World of Sports (Fri-Sun). The Vipers U-8 team that I coach came in 3rd. We lost in the semi's by 1 goal (6-5) to the team that won it all. The kids were disappointed with the loss but bounced back and decimated the opponent in the 3rd place game by 9-2. They represented the Viper nation proudly and got many props from everybody around. Everybody thought we were the best team and should have won it all.
Took the Viper there and had an incredible experience with the thousands of folks that were there for the soccer nationals, the baseball nationals, and the basketball AAU nationals. Many new friends were made, and I think there were about a thousand pictures taken of the Viper by folks from all over the country and world. Kids were going nuts around it. It was an incredible experience. Made a lot of kid's dreams come through by letting them sit in it and taking some for a drive. The smiles on their faces were priceless. The Viper was definitely a crowd favorite and the supercharger was the talk of the weekend.
The Viper team was crowned 3rd best team in the country and the Viper was definitely the winner of the crowd. It was an experience to remember.
Thank you all that have suppported this little kiddie team, that was one goal away from playing for the national championship, and probably could have won it all. The kids did the Viper nation proud. We will definitely make a run for it next year as we are only a 6 month old tournament team. With this added experience, the Vipers will be the team to beat next year.
