Wanna swap interiors???

Have a mint condition gray dash/seats out of my 94. Before I go and spend a ton of money having them professionally done I wanted to see if anyone had some stuff out there that would help cut down the cost. Looking for black. Please let me know......by the way...how the hell do you get that damn knob off the headlight control???? Spent nearly an hour....sweating...swearing....and finally destroying the knob and half the shaft!!!! Must be the Italian in me!!!!!

Ahh, the knob..............

With the drivers side kneeboard removed, put your hand on the left side of the switch assembly then slide your fingers around to the top of it. You'll feel a small depression with a push-button in the middle of it. Press it, then pull the knob/shaft out of the switch.

FYI..........if you're good at removing a ladies bra with one hand (while blindfolded) you'll get it first try. If not, keep fumbling around with it. You'll get it eventually.

Man do I wish I knew that early this morning!!! Hope I can glue on a new knob...might not have enough of the rod left....oh well. Maybe now I'll save someone else from making the same mistake!! If I keep my interior I'm thinking of doing a suade and leather combo like the GEN 3. What do you think? Anybody have pics of something similar?
