What are these trouble codes on a \'96 GTS?

I helped a buddy scan his trouble codes on his '96 GTS and by turning the key on and off 3 times quickly, and came up with a code 12 and code 55. can someone please tell me what these two are and how to reset the ecu so the codes will dissapear once he fixes the problem? thanks guys!

Hi Jeremy,
12 is the PCM's number for the start of it's "Test Sequence"
55 is the end of it's "Test Sequence"
Trouble Codes are 13 to 54.
Every time you disconect the Battery that is what you'll get. Is there a problem with he's Viper?

Thanks a lot Chuck! There was absolutely NO apparent problems with his car, so I guess that explains why those two codes didn't mean anything

I have autotap which I get my codes from. I have never heard of the 3 key thing I tried it and nothing. Is it supposed to be like a GM and the Change Engine Soon light flashes the code for you, or did you have something else plugged into the car.Not that I need to do it that way but I just wanted to know. Thanks

if i'm not mistaken, the on/off 3x ecu scan only works on '96-'97 Gen2 motors....correct me if i'm wrong...but i know it doesn't work on the '98 or '99-up Vipers
