WHAT\'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Drove the car several times today. Last time I drove it, about 3PM, I pulled it into the garage and went in. About 2.5 hours later I get in to start it and it is dead as a duck! I had to jump it. No lights left on, nothing else I could see. Any ideas?

Bad battery. It's three years old correct?

Do you drive it on a regular basis? If not, keep it charged with a DelTran Battery Tender Plus.

New battery about 1 year ago and yes I drive it usually 2 or 3 times per week.

Hmmm...Are you sure you are leaving no lights on? What about (I have no idea actually...LOL ).

You need a battery tender, I had the same problem with that kind of use. I would pitch the current battery, and start using a battery tender. Don't know what causes the continual drain, maybe the alarm system?

Yes but this happened a couple of hours after I drove it quit a bit. Thats what is puzzling!

When the battery decides to go it doesn't give any warning. I put a lot of highway miles on my Viper and had no indication of the battery going sour. Went to start it up at lunchtime and instead spent lunch replacing the battery.
