I just had a bright yellow paint job done on my 1993 RT/10. I am going to refinish the wheels and powdercoat them, does any one out there think I should powdercoat them black? They are the factory 3 spoke so I will be unable to have a polished lip, thus they will somewhat fade in to the tire.

I have black emblems and my dash is black.

So what do you think.....silver or black.

Any pictures of a black gen 1 wheel

Oh for cripes sake don't paint them black! Your poor car will look like a retired accountant from New Jersey at his winter condo in Miami wearing yellow shorts with black dress shoes and black socks (pulled all the way up of course). The only car I have ever seen look good with black wheels was a black 996-based RUF Turbo.

Dare to be different!

As long as your not going to track the car, pick up some cheap 1996 wheels!

The original 5 spoke polished aluminum finish is still awesome and is hard to beat with those wheels.

Chrysler should do the right thing and buy back all the 3 spoke wheels, destroy them and replace them with HRE's or something. Worst stock wheel ever.

Definitely "CHROME"! Just Remember, "CHROME WILL GET YOU HOME!" Just look at "Crom's" Thread. Good Luck!
