Trying to get this forum going. Looking at the new issue of Viper magazine it says there are 31 VCA members and 161 owners of Vipers in Louisiana. I'm in West Central, 8 miles North of Leesville. Where are you located??????

Leesville??? Shoot last time I heard that town mentioned I was at Tigerland (Ft Polk) back in early 1970 for Infantry AIT (Army).. Never made it into town myself, but there were some wild stories.
There was a female-type on this forum named 'Kaya' with a G3 coupe from Louisiana about a year ago... Haven't heard from her much lately though.

"female type" has a 2006 GTS Blue SRT 10 Coupe. I participate in local drag racing and participated in Viper Days in January at No Problem Raceway. It has been too hot to do anything lately except go to shows and win trophies 
The Mid South club is always looking for new members. There are quite a few Viper owners here locally (meaning Houma, New Orleans and Baton Rouge) not all are VCA members but I am working on them!

Most of the Mid South events are in the middle to northern part of the state and you can contact Tim Zimmerman to get some information, there are some members in Mississippi and North Louisiana that you are closer to.
If you are interested in events and are in the Leesville area you should email Tim Zimmerman [email protected] and he can get you set up as a member of VCA and get you on his email list of upcomming events.
The Houma group where I live are all friends or at the least associates. My husband sells Vipers and we do have a Venom Red with no stripes and high polish wheels and a Viper Orange with Silver Stripes on order for the dealership. I would love to get a Snakeskin Green to add to my collection but I purchased a Z06
to track as an alternate car to the Viper.Greg, Paul B. and Myself all bought from the local dealer and all track our cars. We are all performance enthusiasts. Tommy has one of the fastest GTS Coupes in the nation. His car is strictly a drag car.

I have a need for help installing a sub in my SRT10. The trunk is obviously not the place to put it; any suggestions? I did replace the 6.5" between the seats with a JL Audio but its just not right.

Dean, There is a show coming up Nov 17th at Evangiline Downs Racetrack/Casino in Opelousus. They drew over 300 cars last year. Street Rods, Muscle cars, Special Interest etc. If you get bored you can nickle & quarter yourself to death in the Casio. Ken

okay, that should be fixed now Rollin. Well, I got the speaker situation fixed. For subwoofers on the SRT what you have to do is put a 10" in the passenger floor board. I did this and it sounds great with plenty of leg room left. I missed that car show due to the weather looking kind of iffy in Lafayette. If anyone ever wants to get together in Lafayette just shoot me a PM. Most of the car guys here are fbodies, vettes amongst other things. Where are all the exotics??

2008 Blue/white roadster due in Franklinton this Sunday or Monday . I've been Viperless for nearly 4 mos. now, suffering withdrawal pains. Woodhouse is shipping it in from Blair, NE for about what it would cost for me to drive up there and back, and LESS than it would cost to fly up there and drive back (2 persons). I can hardly wait.....!
