Do I need to remove the aluminum panel under the center/rear area of the car to access suitable frame points for 2 jackstands on an '06? Sending the wheels out for work and the car will be out of commission for a few weeks, will just raise the car on the 4 post lift, and set it down on stands. Thanks

When I did my e-brake relocate, I was able to get jackstands on the rear by just unbolting the back half of the sheet metal panel and letting it hang down. However, I had to completely remove the panel that the splitters attach to.

In the cross members you will find holes where the jack stands need to be placed, bothe the front and rear.

Oops, sorry I thought I was in the GenII forum when I responded to this. I wish I had a GenIII so I can answer your question properly. :)
