I am debating if I should pull the trigger and pick up some new HREs 19/20 combo for my white mamba... Where have you guys went? and who has the best price?

I will be selling my current HRE setup over the winter as the car is stored.

The wheels are HRE 545 wrapped in PS2s (275/30/19 and 345/30/19) wheels and tires have less than 2,000 miles on them...

Thanks

What are you asking for the set of 545's? And what finish are they ?
I will second the vote for John B. @ Partsrack :2tu:

Thanks Guys.

We became HREs largest VIPER vendor becasue of my wonderful, thoughtful bedside manner. It has nothing to do with our LOW PRICES or the fact that we take wheel trades too.

Please price your choice on HRE Website and then call me. THANKS

[I hate to talk you OUT of buying, but the performace is a trade-down, and the cost is more. Your wheels are a perfect match for your car in my sales-challenged opinion]

not to hijack the thread, but do you have any copper head wheels in stock? I am interested in the silver finish not polished.

The silver finish is probably gone for good, we COULD get some ACR Blems, but not likely.
We do have the 18-19 full-polish-clear in stock, under $3700/set 4 with caps and lugnuts.

Great talking to you John!:2tu:
Question: What size wheel width would you recommend? I want to go with 19/20 combo (19x?? and 20x13)... My concern is the profile size on the tires. I want to make sure the sidewall thickness on the fronts match the rears.

I ran a 19x9.5 and 20x11 (F:265/30/19 R:305/25/20) The sidewall thickness matched nicely...

Thanks again

I think most go with a 19x10 or 10.5 and 20x12 or 13 on a SRT. I just ordered a set of wheels, 19x10.5 and 20x13.

The only 19/20 tire setup with matched set of tires is the Nitto Invo or Michelin PS2.
Nittos come in a 285/30/19 and 345/25/20
PS2's come in a 275/30/19 and a 335/30/20.
The Michelin 335 is as wide, if not wider then a 345 Nitto , but is a little too tall. Though its what I chose, because I love the way the PS2 handles and hooks up.
Most used to run the Pirelli PZero 275/30/19 and 345/25/20, it looked good, but they stopped making the rear tires.

Thanks for the headsup:2tu:
335/30 tire seems like it would have a rather thick sidwall no?
Now I just need to decide what tire I am goin to go with. Anyone have pics of 19/20 combo with the above listed tires?

I really like the low profile look...

I really like the setup I had on my vette 265/30/19 and 305/25/20. I'm trying to achieve this same look with the 345s out back and 275 or 285 up front.

Vette looks good.

You want 345/25/20 and 275/30/19 - which does not exist in a matched set at this time. Nitto says the 275 should be available 1st or 2nd quarter of 08.

the ps2 combo looks kinda big out back and the nitto combo looks kinda big up front....but either combo you go with will look really good.

Here is ILLSMOQ's car with the michelin in back, still had pirelli up front. It is bigger/beefier, but not terrible. Ill sacrafice a little extra sidewall, cause the PS2 is a awesome tire. I wish Michelin would make in a 25 series though for our rear.
And if you go to Iforged.com, go to showroom and select vehicle pics, there are alot of Viper pics under Dodge, there is a Silver SRT on 19/20 with the Nittos to compare look.

Have you thought about going with a 20/20 setup on your srt? I'm torn on between going 19/20 and 20/20

The tire profile looks good:2tu:

I’m going with the 19/20 combo... I think it makes the car look more aggressive with the staggered look... I am just worried about tires now :(

Guys have been looking for like the last 6 months. They show on tirerack website limited stock, but when you call they dont have any and say they can place a order, but they are back ordered. I wouldnt put your hope in it , just figure on running another tire, because you wont find any Pirelli's in a 345/25/20. Unless there is a private shop that happens to still have a few sets on the shelf. These would be older tires, probably a year old. There were a couple guys on Ebay that had a few sets left, I think they sold out, but were also adding a extra $150 a tire markup. As far as I knew, Pirelli had stopped making them for whatever reason. No one has a realanswer, just specualtion.

Some guys say the 20/20 looks good on a coupe and 19/20 for a vert. I personally like the staggered look. Thisis a pic of the wheel Im getting, Im going 19/20. But this is a 20/20 setup on a coupe.

Nice wheel choice! Those are similar to the HRE 843R I am considering ... Hopefully a photoshop guy will reply to my other thread.

I had Iforged Classics on the Vette. Fit and finish was top notch.
