Looking at a 97 GTS that has 30% tint on the side and rear glass. Not looking to start a debate but window tint is not for me and my question is can I assume the tint can be removed professionally without a problem?

Thanks guys. I have read stories of removing tint and accidently cutting defroster lines and the job sounds messy so I would rather have a pro do it but sounds like that is not an issue.

Thanks again

You might find that you like the tint. My ACR has its windows tinted whe I bought it and I was gonna remove it but...its a little added security and helps cut down of cabin heat as well. The only thing I don't like is the visiabilty out the back at night. I always drive with my windows down so that not really an issue.

removed professionally

if you've never done it before, you are smart to have it professionally done, sometimes comes off easily, sometimes kills a whole day

like 01sapphirebob said, might try driving with it for awhile, you might like it (30% not too dark imo and sure cuts the solar heat)

congrats on the new ride :drive:

Had mine taken out of 2 cars I own. I strongly reccomend having it done prefssionally. It's not expensive.
