Just curious to see how many of you Viper owners have seriously used the Viper hand sign? I'm curious how many people take some pride in this hand signal vs. how many people think it is dorky.

I don't wave it out of respect for Vette's. I'd just use my middle finger but that would be a little over the top.

'have got to agree....
When driving my Viper, I usually don't need to acknowledge any one else...they are busy "acknowledging" me...
Unless of course, I am running with other Vipers, then I don't dare take a hand off the wheel to wave....2001 GTS

Don't foget the sequel or whatever its called on that denim jacketWell I thought it was kinda goofy 8 years ago & it's not getting any cooler ... although if I ever crossed the path of another Viper while in my Viper & he did it, I'd return the sign. But in 8 years I've only crossed paths with another Viper once & we actually pulled over and talked, etc.
I wave at anyone who waves at me & have waved at Vettes, Stangs, a Vantage, a Gallardo, a 68 Stang, whatever I think is a nice ride & have always gotten a return wave.

NEVER did the so-called 'Viper hand sign'~~but agree with DMan, we give a wave to anybody who waves at us...doesn't matter what vehicle they are in...just shows respect.
But that hand sign?????

Hey Greg...long time, no hear! So, do YOU wave to anyone who waves to you? Even VETTES??? We wave to anyone who respects us the same way...no matter WHAT the vehicle...as I say, everyone loves their own cars!!!

Do you guys think it's kind of strange that I stay home on Friday and Saturday nights instead of going out and practice the Viper hand sign in the mirror to make sure I throw it perfect every time?.............
...................................just kidding!!! I thought it was pretty *** when my friend told me about seeing it on T.V. Shortly after that I saw it on the PartsRack website. I would throw a goofy hand sign if I owned a business and was given advertisement exposure with Jay Leno too.

Well if a Viper owner did that to me, it would go a little something like this... Id turn around to go after him. and then when he stopped I would walk up to him and say

Friends of mine are aware of the sign and make fun of me with it. "Vipeeeeer" accompanied with the sign. I hate when they do that.
