Does your car run fine without it? Maybe.... it doesn't really need to go back on? But by all means, we all need our plastic hoods grounded in case we toutch it or something. Wouldn't want to get shocked or anything.

Actually that strap goes to the cowl screw, the engine and the Body ground on my GTS. Driver's side.

Well I'll be dipped in honey and powdered sugar. Maybe it does have 3 terminals.

I've had the cowl off many times but it always looked like a 2 connector thingy.

Grounds always need to be restored. Without proper grounding the terminals corrode and all kinds of phantam electrical problems may accumulate. Electronics are extremely complicated and "grounding kits" are available for all Ricers. I think I saw one ebay that claimed that further grounding the computer, electronics and engine would prevent misfire and add 100hp.

Chrysler does a good job grounding our cars and whenever we have an 'weird' electrical problem everyone says, "Check the grounds."

I'd reinstal all the grounds.

Dave's pic seems pretty good. Looks like his attachment points and mine are the same. firewall, cowl support under screw and top of footbox on Driver's side.

funny, while tightening my headers a few days ago i found the SAME ground wire disconnected.

To me it looked like the one end came disconnected from the back of the head where the coilpack mounts because I saw a Ring terminal there with a small amonut of frayed wire hanging from it

Dave, in your pic, the wire that goes up behind the heatshield. Does it connect up there? or come around to the coilpack area?

I'd like to make sure im connecting mine back to the proper place

Dom426h, it clips onto the shield
that extra piece on the shield is the clip

Ted, since we have the Roe, that shield is missing
where do you have the clip attached to now?

I don't remember from 6 month ago when I re and re'd my heads and I went out in the snow and looked today. The location looked like Dave's pic except that I thought I saw an eyelet and bolt where Dave's clip is. Can't see very well under the cowl. I'll have it back in the shop once I get my Roe power steering bracket and metal pulley. But now it's parked in the snow.
