As the title says, can't find many photos of Verts wearing rear deck lid spoilers, would really like to see a side of the car profile shot at eye level of the Partsrack rear deck spoiler, please post them here! I'm needing a little rear aero without wanting to run a full rear wing on the car, just need something along the lines of a 'Gurney' lip spoiler, to compliment a splitter when fitted.

Here's mine with a "Hennessey" lip spoiler, sorry it's the only one I liked.

Cubican, thanks, that carbon looks great, especially on red. That 'H' lip spoiler is a great profile shape (love black and silver stripes) but...Ooh, just checked that link for Coupe look for verts rear out, that is so nice. I met Steve at VOI11, cool guy, as most Viper guys and gals are.
So my quick quest for a bolt on deck spoiler... just got bigger!
Do these panels need to be bonded around the doors area with sealant or just bolt up? I read there is no additional weight over stock, that is good. I think this would look superb with my early edition Comp Coupe hood and hybrid side panels. I'm not racing this year, having a quiet year to save money for the race cars projects!!
Slithr will be a while on the F1 update, I could not get the Viper engine to work, the crank shaft height (even dry sump and dropped through the floor) was too high to mate with any kind of trans axel design. I had to have the trans internals re-designed anyway to work with the less than 1900rpm! Just had the OE carbon casing 3D scanned, as apparently the carbon as a stressed member breaks down with heat cycles, and was only ever designed to last 2 races! F1 is a whole another world, a very interesting one, will be curious to see what I can achieve on my very limited budget (which just got distracted with Coupe Vert rears)!

Hey Nadine,

I still have your photo of your cars you gave me at VOI!

This kit just bolts right up, you can silicone the rear quarters to the door sills like stock if you want, but you probably don't have to, few strips of sealant tape would probably work just as well. The it most likely will weigh a little less than the stock set up just due to lighter weight materials being used for the deck lid, bumper and quarters. I will be making the decklid in Carbon as well as a carbon hardtop for the verts, (I have a prototype in Fiberglass already, but I think Carbon is the way to go)

I've been thinking about this all day :) I may not be able to stretch to all the carbon options I'd like right now from you, but any lighter trunk lid is very good, that stock piece weighs a ton!
