Installed a new Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS and a carbon fiber dash and gauge bezels on my 2005 Viper. I was worried about the single din not looking right, but I actually really like it. I had the yellow and red to match the gauges, but changed the color to a red and blue (not pictured) to match the air conditioning panel. Went a head and installed a Viper alarm with the sonic sensor as well, incase someone tries to come in through the roof.

Looks good, sounds awesome....and now have MP3, USB, and hi def radio! Here are a few pics.

I have the same Mopar carbon fiber dash. Have a Kenwood. Dash adapter plate is all that is needed. Fits great. No cutting. You may have to do a reflash because you no longer have the standard stock system and get a CEL.

Not really -
International standard ISO 7736 defines a standard size for car audio head units. The standard was originally established by the German standards
body Deutsches Institut für Normung as DIN 75490, and is therefore commonly referred to as the "DIN car radio size".

It is the MOPAR Dash....I got it and the rings on EBAY for 212 bucks....not too bad! The deck fit great, with no further cutting.

Anybody make a head unit upgrade that can include a back up camera? Double DIN OK.
Any of the current aftermarket DVD players should include an auxiliary video input that is used for external camera. What would be nice is to have both front and rear camera. Clearing speed bumps and curbs is as challenging in the Viper as backing up.

Honestly did not know that. Thanks.
