Problem: Sputters at 1500 RPM
If it's not the plugs or wires, it's probably the oxygen sensors. You can tell when these are going bad because the car will miss only under acceleration.- Brian 95 RT

Oil change?
Local oil change place charges me $15 - I bring my own oil and filter. Oil from Walmart, and filter from Autozone - couldn't be any easier!- Brian 95 RT

how cold out is it before you garage?
Put mine away yesterday - winter is finally here in Michigan. They use way too much salt on the roads here to even consider driving a Viper in the winter. Sad day. Had to put my baby away.
This has probably been one of the worst summers in Michigan in years. Early summer was nice, but the second half of August and all of Sept & Oct have been terrible. Put less than 500 miles on the Viper this year.- Brian 95 RT

For those that have low mileage Vipers, how do you do it?
This is the 3rd year I've owned my Viper - 1st year put on 3,000 miles, 2nd year 2,500 miles, and only 500 miles this year. Spark plug wires on a 94
That's the key - do only one wire at a time - then you can feel where they go on the coil - because you won't be able to see where they go.- Brian 95 RT

Who insures your Viper?
Good luck with Progressive - I had one claim with them after several years (not my fault) and my car, boat, and house insurance all doubled. But I just got a letter in the mail last week about a class action lawsuit against Progressive for insurance fraud/overcharging clients - they deserve it...- Brian 95 RT

Need advice on 95 w/ellenger exhaust
I think you mean Belanger headers/exhaust - which is loud. I don't think any one year is worse than another, it's all in how the car was maintained. These cars require more regular maintenance than most other newer cars. Make sure all the fluids have been changed regularly. Other things that...- Brian 95 RT
