I switched and then switched back, while yes you will get more traction in a straight line, the side wall fles of the non runs is so bad I almost lost control several times, and that was with all tire pressures, none helped the problem all the way up to 50 psi.

Yes it pops and stuff, I changed the exhaust and the headers, and the sound is 100 times better. Its so good I have to roll the windows down so I can hear it better. Though if you change the exhaust expect the cabin noise to get much louder...
I say go for it. You can notice a difference without question. It isnt a HP gain necessesarily, but the car runs cleaner and crisper, especially when its cool, like late at night, you can really feel it. It takes the computer a few miles to readjust to the air intake difference, like 50-100...
