    Neef a 3M clearbra installer

You may want to talk to Tim Kirlin of Moto-F/X (formerly ‘The Plastic Surgeons’): Moto-F/X 7725 S Grant St Burr Ridge, Illinois 60527 Tel: (630) 669-7033 Email: [email protected] He and his son Rich installed a Venture Shield clearbra on my Viper in my garage with exceptional results. I...

    iPhone kit?

Take a look at the 'CableJive dockStubz Charge Converter and 30-pin Pass Through Adapter for iPhone, iPod, and iPad' or similar device on Amazon. It plugs in between the iPod Integration Kit's connector and your iPhone and should resolve the issue with the charging while still allowing all other...

Pictures of my COUPE, came from the darkside.

I saw it yesterday at the Super Car Saturdays event; you certainly have a great looking coupe with very tasteful mods!

    Rotary Revolution Lift Ramps, extended?

Although not exactly the same, I have the extended 44" aluminum ramps with my Rev lift and my '09 roadster will just clear with just over 1/4" to spare. To be safe, I place a 18"x24", 1"-thick rubber horse mat length-wise under first 2-3" of the leading edge of each ramp (similar idea to...

Washing the Viper with a water softener

Definitely use the soft water. Calcium in the hard water is pain and can leave hard to remove water spots. I have a private well for my water supply and only use the treated (softened) water for car washes. As general rule of thumb, try not to wash your car in direct sunlight to minimize any...

09 convertible top hard to put up

Possibly give it a bit of time and more up-down-up cycles. Much like yours, my '09s top was/is a ***** to get latched. It has progressively become easier to latch particularly when it's warm. I found that latching it from the passenger seat with my left hand on the "j" hook and guiding it to the...

    Is NY next???

The problem is ALL of the major interstates (and highways AND alternate routes) in Northern Illinois are under construction and cannot be avoided. There was a time that Illinois had the 45mph limit only when construction workers were present with the standard speed limit anytime else; but that...

Tired of Acid leaking from battery. Can someone recommend a gel battery?

In general they will not as they are truly sealed verses a traditional maintenance-free lead-acid battery; but it ultimately depends on the design. Look for an battery that can be safely orientated in any mounting direction (i.e. laying down v. needing to be kept upright).

Tired of Acid leaking from battery. Can someone recommend a gel battery?

Take a look at the Odyssey AGM batteries as they offer no spills, long life and deep cycle capacity. IIRC the Viper uses a Odyssey 34-PC1500T. Manufacture's site: ODYSSEY Batteries. I've used them exclusively on my track cars without any issues.

    Lift bolted down?

Bolting the lift down is really up to you if it gives you piece of mind. I have a rotary/rev 4-post that is not bolted down and have never experienced any lateral movement across the floor as confirmed by circling the feet with children's playground chalk. The most important item is to have it...

    09s scarce??

IIRC, these totals include the 100 VOIX editions making the remaining coupes, roadsters and ACRs quite rare.
