I recently discovered that my drivers side door will not stay open by itself. Upon further inspection it appears as though door is starting to rub on parts of the door seal. Is there a remedy to this?

I've had both hinges on my car replaced in the past year that I've had the car. The first time wasn't a big deal as I had the work done at a shop but the second time was probably the worst automotive nightmare of my life. I took the car to Autoway Dodge and had it done under warranty and not only did the door alignment look like it was done by a drunken 3 year old, the "viper tech" managed to put about a dozen scratchs in the paint that went through the color....

Needless to say, I don't use that dealership any longer and when I had a specialty shop fix the damage/alignment on the dealer's dime (over $2000 since the dealer also managed to break 2 other parts on the door).

But, for a talented repair tech it shouldn't be a problem :)

Yes, my doors sag. The gasket on the left side is all worn, as is the carpet. It is stripping off in long string-like sections. Anchorage Chrysler Dodge says that is 'normal' and that there is 'nothing wrong'??

I would like to find the post where they put updated parts in the door or smaller panels?
