Not sure why the car looks orange....kinda cool:

Car looks really nice, Tony! It appears you figured out how to get the fascia aligned properly - not an easy task.

Re: Preliminary new FASCIA images!!!!!

so is this a venom fascia that you picked up from someone or one independent of heneseiy? You may have said someone and I missed it.

This is one of JPH's that I found localy (Richmond) from "Mullins" (used to be a member here a while back). The splitter is home-made, did it myself using a picture in a MT calendar!! LOL!! Pictures were taken at an open house car show at the local Vo-Tech School....and they just had to have the speed bumps from hell.

Dean, on the install and alignment....I learned A TON from those who have gone before me, and the body/paint guy has a ton of energy. It was near perfect when I picked it up...then Brian made a couple trips over to the house to finish up. One night we did the fascia, fine tuning the gap at the front of the hood. Next night we did the headlights.

Thanks for the notes. I'm not telling anyone they don't already know...it is a labor of love. My "to-do" list is much smaller now (which makes my wife happy)!

Re: Preliminary new FASCIA images!!!!!

Thank you Matt. :)

Anthony....I've only added the wing and the fascia. Haven't been yelled at yet! :) Now, I still have the rear fascia to add, I'm just waiting on parts. :)

All kidding aside....I'm good-to-go, no problems at all. I am a little bummed out about the splitter...I think it is too long. I'll probably take it off and have it trimmed down a little. The good thing about it is...it is "starboard plastic", 3/4 inch. I scraped a tiny bit leaving my driveway, leaving a little burr edge on the lower edge....I bought a 3" block plane (fits right in the hand) and smoothed it out and you'd never be able to tell. :)

Hope to see that wild ride in person some day. No longer a sleeper with the supercharger. People will probably still be surprised how quick they are viewing your tail lights once they race you. :2tu:

One of these days I'll take it off and have about 1/2" shaved off the leading edge....but right now I'm too lazy! :)

I made it myself. Did everything BUT the radius cut in front. I did, however, mount the darn thing on the fascia, in my dining room, and marked the line with painter's tape. The big piece of plastic cost about $150, then another $40 for the final radius cut. I've used stainless hex bolts underneath with flat washer and split washer. I still have about 6 bolts to measure up and procure.

If you want the details on what I used, and possibly a template...let me know. I can hook you up for the price of a Bud! LOL! :)

Love the car, and the wing is awesome, but I've never been a big fan of the looks of a splitter, especially the really fat ones... looks too much like Bubba from forrest gump. :D
