Hey all, Just curious if anyone has any photos or procedures for the belt replacement on a Gen 3 Paxton kit? I installed the kit myself and had a belt snap yesterday. I know when installing the kit I had to route the belt before the blower was mounted. I am assuming I will need to undo the plate but was just looking for any tips and tricks on doing this. I messaged doug about the DLM kit and was planning to install a new tensioner, belt and the DLM kit in the fall when I take the car off the road but since the belt snap Ill most likely slap a new belt on and get the rest of the summer out of the car and then go through everything in the fall. I am still working on the tuning of the kit but am getting quite close. Also if anyone has any photos of the tensioner release bolt and where exactly this puts pressure on the tensioner as I am not sure mine is aligned or working properly.

Thanks everyone

I agree with goggles - be very careful not to over tighten that sucker. Nothing says fun like a multi-piece crankshaft. I wish I could be of help but Doug got mine all sorted before the car ever made it to my hands. Best of luck!

I think the belt had some issues when I first installed it (I bought the kit used). it also looks like there was contact between the alternator pulley and the supercharger pulley at one time. I ordered a new pulley, tensioner, couple belts and reached out to Doug about the DLM belt fix kit.

I found another used spare belt that I had and I was able to slap it on last night (took 2-3 hours to change a belt but it is what it is). Its a real pain and need to remove the supercharger and then undo the primary plate alternator bolt. With those out of the way I was able to get the belt routed and then reinstall and get over the supercharger and tensioner.

Hoping this new belt gets me through summer and then in the fall I will slap on the new pulley, tensioner, belt and hopefully the DLM kit if Doug still has any available and gets back to me).
