If the choice was no Viper or one with a paddle shifter option which would you chose? If the Viper was faster with paddle shifters then i might buy one. If a paddle shifted option...
hopefully without sounding too stupid I have to ask --------what purpose do these so-called exhausters serve? or is this some sort of sick joke?

although earlier in this post I said the'03 silver paint code was PA9 I think I was wrong. I actually bought a can of mopar spray paint for my '03 from a dealer and the code on the can is VA9. my apologies ----------------eagles
while perusing the ford gt forum yesterday someone posted that he had driven the new Viper and from seat of the pants feel he felt it was faster than a stock FGT.
He Said it felt quicker 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile but could not say about road course or top speed. He said in the 1/4 it should...
I have been using the pc925 Odyssey batteries in my twinturbo300zx and in my 03srt10 for 2years so far with great results. absolutely terrible results with optimas they don't last and they won't warranty.

I know the crossover is eliminated so I wonder if anyone may have heard the 08 running--what does it sound like? who makes it? is it comparable to corsa or ? at idle or full song?

02 Graphite GTS, thanks for the great job posting and the written account of your project. I have two questions however.
1. will the baffle kit and the reusable gasket fit a '96 GTS?
2. will the baffle kit and the reusable gasket fit '03 and up?

I grew up in the hotrod era and first round of manufacturer horsepower wars in the 60's and early 70's, man was that great!
I am fortunate to own a mint original 70 hemi RTSE triple black challenger from back in the day as well as a 96gts and my alltime...
You might have something there. My srt10 feels like it loses 50hp when the weather gets warmer. Its a well known fact that cooler air is denser and therefore you can pack more of it into the engine thereby making more hp.
On my gen2 I have insulated the tubes with one inch thick foam...
Canyon 707; I have the Roe exhaust, no crossover with the stock cats. While it is louder than stock it is fairly mellow around town. If you want to hear it let me know next time your over my way.
