    If you get one with run flat tires, ditch them and get some Pilot Sports, etc and a good alignment. That will cure many issues.

    Ya, I'm for real alright. My point is. "Get the best price you can and then buy it". Hell yes I've countered offers. I've done it with the seller not on a forum. Also, if the cost is a stretch for you perhaps in this "current market" you should reconsider the your priorities.

    That's not it, just don't be a tight wad. If you have the money and want a Viper then buy one and enjoy it. If you are passing up owning the car because of $5-10k you really don't want one you're just being a low balling tight wad. Go buy a vette or Mustang.

    WTF does "who can buy one got to do with what is fast" :rolleyes: I own a '08 Viper coupe and a '08 Honda CBR1000rr. Both stock. The bike will smoke the car in the 1/4 "how about high 9's at 150mph. Above 150 the Viper will pull the bike.

    Don't waste the dealers time. I guess none of you that are concerned about the noise have ever driven a car with a high performance twin disc clutch before. They all rattle a little in neutral. It is not the transmission.

    I'm not a "Viper Tech" but I sure as hell know what the sound is. It's the clutch and it's normal, if you just can't stand the sound push the pedal in while you are in neutral and listen to it go away. Remember he said he is in NEUTRAL, so the gears aren't moving. It's not a transmission...
