Like my dad said that's my old car.... There are a lot of things done to that car that the dealer has no clue about.... It's come up a few times on Ebay and the descriptions were missing a lot...
It won't clear the wheel wells. The trailer that we had built has custom Alum ramps bolted to the floor to give enough height to clear the side of the trailer and open the cars door all the way. It took some time to figure out the setup and measurements. Fits a gen 4 ACR with track alignment...
You have some other factors that are probably not helping much. Yeah those pzero's are giving you some feedback that might be confusing you since the sidewalls are so stiff. I am on Sport Cups on the street and Hoosier R6's on the track 18 and 19's so its tough to compare the setup like you...
Something to think about... Next season I would see were Viper Days will be close to you. Archer Racing will be out there and I would get them to do an aggressive street alignment on it along with weight and balance the car. I did the KW install myself on mine and roughed it in then had them do...
From what I have gathered there are quite a few of us that are not bringing cars because of this. I was really looking forward to running a few days at Miller.
Oh well....
That was my issue as well. I found out about it when we were at Hallet. I had made all of the plans for transport with Archer then I started to hear rumors about no Challenge series. I was very disapointed... Car isnt going out there now.
No, you just need a set that has the correct spring rate. You can get either variant with the correct spring rate. Depending on what you want the car to do will and how much you are willing to spend will determine K&W variant 2 or 3 or a set of motons. That set on ebay might be what you are...
If you are going to run the setup from the ACR you need to remember that they are sprung for the aero kit on those cars. That kit that Steve posted is the same that I have. You need to check on the spring rates to be sure.
Yeah it was a blast. Tim my sister got a picture of your car in the pits so PM me an email addy so I can get one sent.
Richard I have one of your wifes car right before Archer got ahold of it.
I have the sport cups on my car. Ride is definitely different, tread wear on the PS2 is better than the cups but the cups have way more grip. Cups are a great auto cross tire, were the PS2 leaves a little since they are more the daily driven tires. It's all a toss up as to what you want to do...
Previous owner on my car had replaced the mufflers with straight pipes. He had left the cross over and was just using the cats to muffle the exhaust note. It popped allot when lifting off the throttle, but still sounded good. I just replaced everything with random techs and corsa's. Either way...
I went ahead and pulled the splash shields all the way out to clean them up before I put everything back together. If you are going to do it this way just make sure that the sills are completely loose along the bottom edge and the few screws that are close to the front are out. This gives you a...
A buddy of mine with a twin turbo termi did his install on jack stands. When he had to rebuild it due to valve guide failure we did it on the lift. He was impressed how much easier it was.
It helps that I have pulled a few of them before.
