Hey all, I'm looking to replace the transmission and motor mounts and go with the poly mounts that are available.

During my research on the mounts I've seen several people mention that these mounts are too short and a spacer would be needed for the exhaust to clear.

I've also seen that Woodhouse had or still has made engine mounts as well but seem to have a bit of vibration and could make the interior become a bit loose and squeek or squeel at times. I'm assuming the mounts are more geared toward the racing community? Is there truth to this rumor?

Aside from the above mentioned mounts and OE ones, what else have people used or is available to look at?

If you get Woodhouse mounts, wrap them in heat protection tape. I normally will use the OEM on the Pass side, then do the Polys on the drivers side. Measure both, but I believe that they are both the same height. If after installing them it looks like the engine sits lower than you would like, simply add in the spacer

Ok, I may dig into this a little more and may even just go with the OE ones as it seems there is caveats to any other solution with them not being thick enough or some other type of issue...

I am going to make my owe poly ones.

Bought an aftermarket OE years again for the passenger side (maybe I bought 2 of them) but not available for the driver's side.

I purchased this set for my 2000 GTS and they work perfectly. Maybe it will be something you want to consider. Please refer to the attached
