Gotta love those GTSRs. I'm always glad to see the continued interest in those old race cars. They are still regulars on the track and not just museum pieces.

The GT-1 class is inaccurate for a chassis number this high. It would have been a GT-2. The first year of Viper GTS international competition was against the Porsche and the McLaren GT-1 cars. Despite carbon/carbon brakes, and 700+hp engines in the sprint races, the Viper was out of its depth compared to the aforementioned cars. The next season, they switched to a more restricted GT-2 class where they DEFINED the class.
