2002 Mid-South VCA Fall Foliage Tour

This years fifth annual fall foliage tour will start at beautiful in Hot Springs, Arkansas, known for its therapeutic hot baths, relaxing natural scenery, and historic downtown complete with bathhouses, art galleries, and tempting gift shops. We will begin the event Saturday morning at the The Austin Hotel with a quick forty-five minute drive to nearby Lake Quachita for a home-style breakfast. Next we’ll pass through Mt. Ida on scenic Route Twenty-Seven for a drive along this beautiful highway to a group lunch at Dardanelle before we cruise to the top of Mt. Nebo to take in the Fall foliage at its best. Next we head back to Hot Springs National Park on our favorite road Arkansas' famaous Scenic Route Seven, to the overlook tower and for a break before dinner. Then, a special dinner cruise on the Belle of Hot Springs "river boat" as we watch the sun set while enjoying Lake Hamilton. Sunday morning we will have brunch and then say our “good-byes” (until next year).

Hot Springs is a picturesque community located between several lakes with plenty of shopping and nightly entertainment, be ready to start early Saturday morning for a great day of Viper events. A complete itinerary will be mailed upon registration.

The event hotel is The Austin Hotel located in historic downtown Hot Springs. The group room rate is $77/night plus tax. To reserve your room call (877) 623-6697 and mention you are with the Viper Club. Don’t wait, this is a very busy time of the year in Hot Springs, and many hotels are already full!

Time to get your registrations in. Cutoff for the Hot Springs Fall Foliage event is Monday October 21..... only a couple of weeks off.
