Just ordered my 2008 SRT10 Blue Coupe from Bill Pemberton. This is my second Viper from Bill and I also had two Prowlers. My last Viper was an 02.

The new ones look great and it appears there have been many upgrades since 2002. I have to wait for quite a while as I ordered the RB-1, silver stripes and the Blue & Black interior.

I do have a question regarding the RB-1 radio. There is not much Dealer information on them. Can somebody educate me on what the system is all about?

Thanks

Congrats on your order , I can't wait to get mine .I will be waiting a long time too . The anticipation is crazy . I have a deposit but havn't been able to get any confirmation of a VON or a VIN because Black isn't available for order tell June 1. I'll be excited just to see some magazines doing reviews to get some performance stats on these cars .

Here is a link about the RB1 radio

It would be nice if Dodge could get the My Gig in the Viper . Then we could have a 20 Gig hard drive for music , and not have to have the navigation cd in when you want to use the navigation.

The darker blue. (Viper Blue) I don't think they are doing the Viper Blue Metalic Clear Coat yet.

Thanks for the Radio information.

Yes it seems like a long time to wait especially for me. I haven't had a Viper since 2003. I am really excited.

You are right! There is still no exact pricing from the dealer. It is a little scary to not know how much you are paying for an expensive item such as a Viper.I think, depending on your options, the MSRP will be in the area of $86K to $88K but I am just guessing.

I'm sure there is someone on this site that knows what it will be.

With the stripes, your car should be similar to my FE 2006 Coupe . MSRP was 91,990. Why would you think the 2008 would be less?

You're probably pretty close from what I was told. I was talking about a base Viper with no stripes, no navigation or up graded interior or wheels.

I know what the stripes cost and the other options and deducted them for a base Viper price.

I also know within a few hundred dollars what my loaded Viper is going to cost me and a base one is considerably less.
