\'94 &\'95 RT/10 High Flow Muffler Replacement...

Hi Everyone,

We have a new exhaust option for the ’94 & ’95 RT/10 side exhaust cars that greatly improves the exhaust sound and performance over stock.

Here’s a picture of the stock system:

The original mufflers on these model years have an internal diameter of approximately 1&5/8 inches, which is very restrictive.

We had new 3” high flow mufflers custom made and fitted them to a stock car:

The sound of the car improved greatly, making it sound like the sports car that it is, while not becoming too loud.

The complete system is Stainless Steel and will not rust. It does require the installer cut the original cat / muffler connection and weld on a new (supplied) 3” Stainless Steel cat outlet. The new muffler slides onto this connection and clamps in place, as does the 3” mandrel bent (smooth) outlet. The original muffler hanger is still used.

The kit is $499.95

Please visit our website for more information on this, and other exhaust system options under the Engine Performance section.

Same as above and how does it compare to the Borla race mufflers I have?

Unfortunately, we only had the car here for a short period of time and did not have an opportunity to before / after dyno test. I can only say that the owner said he could feel the engine pulling harder in the upper RPM, which makes sense with the diameter difference. I would estimate about 10 HP increase based on the fact our full side exhaust kit makes 20 HP and includes the round high flow cat.

The car sounds much better. We'll try to get him to stop so we can get a sound clip.

Matt,
The mufflers look and sound very similar to the Borla XR1's, but are slightly different. We've had trouble getting the XR1's and had to find another source.

Sean

No.
We buy the mandrel bent U-bends, stainless, rod, angle, clamps, mufflers, etc.., then cut and weld here.
The mufflers are custom made to our specs by a company in California.

I think he got them from TGF. They're the only ones I know of that ever made them.
