Here's a great comparison, as of 09/29/06. I'm 35 with no points on my license, and here is what I'm paying with Allstate:

$850 annually 2006 Ford Explorer
$1476 annually 02 Viper GTS ($123 monthly)
$1365 annually 06 Z06. ($113 monthly)

Roughly $1k/yr with Farmers :2tu:
The viper should be here early next week. Thanks for the pointers. Take care.

Good Luck with Farmers!
I've had them for about 2 years on another car and the house and added the Viper in July.
After about 30 days they notified me that the Viper was not insurable, the car not me, and they were canceling it.

I was a little leary about Farmers anyway after seeing they were very low rated by Consumers Reports.

I also went back to AAA.

If you have a very high credit rating you might check with Safeco. They apparently feel that drivers with high credit scores are also safer drivers.

Anyway, full coverage on my '99 RT/10 is less than $300 every 6 mo. as a secondary vehicle.

you guys need to put city because that changes the quoted price dramaticaly. went from 4000/year in SF to 1200/year 75 miles away. same company, same car, same day of quote, just changed location 75 miles. hope that helps the shoppers.

I pay 1340 every 6 months, USAA. One ticket, 22 years old. It's the only car I have on that policy. This is in a pretty small town, though. Las Cruces, NM.

Edit: This is with 500 dollar deductibles on an 04 SRT-10.
