On the way to my kid's lacrosse game today, I got on the highway and came upon a buddy of mine in his Viper. As I exited the highway sitting at a stop light, I noticed traffic had stopped but the car driving behind him didn't. Needless to say, the Viper was between a van and a car and ended up all over the highway. Fortunately, he got out of the car and did not appear hurt.

Always leave lotsa room between you and the car ahead of you and keep your eye in the rearview for idiots not paying attention. This exact same situation happened to a friend this morning. Luckily he left enough room to pull into the emergency lane out of harm's way.
