Any ideas on how to keep exhaust debris off bumper???

[GALA-96-GTS]

I must say, my GTS is absolutely filthy on the rear bumper after only 2-3 days after a wash. Has anyone found a way to keep the exhaust debris off the rear end of their GTS? My entire exhaust system is stock. Does anyone have any bolt on turn down exhaust pipes that minimize the exhaust debris?

Yes, they do collect dust/dirt. I am not sure about exhaust pipes to help out. I have a Corsa, and get the same results with dust.

Add a few more coats of wax/polish on the rear, and take a Cali. duster to it between drives, then a micro-fiber towel and some Pinacle Crystal Mist spray!

Makes life easier between washes.

yea...dont drive it! exhaust residue and brake dust on the side of the car are unavoidable.

Take the bumper off, then you can still drive it!

OK, here's my solution.

Use windshield washer concentrate to wash it off. Works unbelievably well.
