Nope, I did look at one just like it with 24K on the odo that had the windshield rear view mirror lying on the passenger seat... Are mirrors falling off somewhat of a problem as the miles add up?

While I think of it, that same car had a light oil mist all over much of the engine compartment. Like most people I suppose, I used to wipe mine off every week so I don't if a light oil mist on the valve covers, intake, power brake vacuum accumulator etc is NORMAL on a car that the owner didn't wipe down religiously, or if that misting indicates a problem.

Anyone know?

I have my interior rear view off most of the time (in the glove box) because i find visibility better without it. The trucks I have driven have no windshield mirror, neither does my motorcycle.

Mirrors falling off is not normal. 55K for that car, located in that area of the country, seems a bit steep. Moreover, that is the start offer, not reserve. Who knows what "Mr. Viper" really wants for it. I believe that others on the site have posted leads to 2001's that may be comparable or better. Use the search function. I believe it was someone in the VA area. Within the last month. It may have been an ACR as well. Use that as your search term.

The auction is a no reserve auction, so a 55k bid will win it. We've spoke about the car, he told me he wanted 60K for it at the time. I have a cash (15K)plus that Viper offer from him for my Cuda. The appeal of this deal is the trade aspect...keeps the taxes down as PA charges 6% of value when you register the car in an out of state purchase, but a trade deal will make it tax free since I'm moving down value wise. Has anybody done business with this guy?

I have seen clones going for 6 figures depending on the quality of the restoration and the looks of the clone Hemi Cuda to the real thing. I would sell the Cuda outright then buy the Viper. Hell, buy 2 Vipers, I bet you will have enough!!
