I just bought a 2008 (from Bill at Woodhouse, thanks Bill!)and I have 3D printers at work and would like to print a model of my car. If anyone already had downloaded a file for one in any of the following formats please let me know.

Parasolid
Unigraphics
STL
IGES
STEP 203/214
DFX

Thanks!

They are printers that lay down a small layer of plastic (instead of ink)and when done will be an actual model, and if the 3D program is very detailed so will the model.

Wow!!! Now that's a heck of a request.......unless you can find an "insider" from the design group. That would be one huge file if it has not already been converted. The proper term is Stereolithography.

It is not really a big request. I can pay to download them from many places on the internet but they cost between $69 and $200. I just thought I would see if someone had it before I paid for it.

I found a few, but this one seemed to be as close to what you are looking for.

Might register and message the guy that produced it.
