Bat\'s Powdercoated Stock Wheels(PICS)

Got my stock wheels powdercoated Dark Gunmetal ofcourse, and I must say I am very pleased with the results :) . Gotta thank Scott from VRT Racing for getting these done in 2 days! The finish has a clearcoat as well :) . My stealth them is taking shape now with my powdercoated wheels, tint,Overlays and lowering spring caps. Next up, stripes :) . Enjoy!

Just my rear turnsignal redout kit. See my Gallery below for more pics on red. My smoke overlays would look hot on your ride :2tu:

You need to powder coat the gas cap to match the wheels. Otherwise it doesnt fit. also suggestion for your stripes is black. That way the whole car is pulled together nicely. Admitedly I thought it was going to be a bad idea to darken them BUT you might just pull of a ****-*** look if you finish it off right.

Congrats on personalizing the car to your tastes.

I like it but I think it like it a little better in the original chrome.

Nonetheless, nice ride.

I am with Jon on this one and figured black stripes would be the only way to go with those wheels. The wheels look great and now I will have to work harder to see if I could ever pull it off. Congrats on a very unique look!

Thanks guys. I knew some of you would like it when you finally got to see the end result ;) .

Yes, the gas cap cover is next! I'll powdercoat the whole thing, but leave the mounting screws polished :) . I think it will look hot!

Looks great, Now you gotta powder coat the gas cap and get darker lettering ;) .btw don't get black stripes because it will look too dark, just get dark gray stripes

looks good, do the gas cap, emblems and stripes in the same color...don't do comp coupe stripes, do the regular stripes.

anyone know where to get a set of emblems for the side of the car? I'd like to get a darker finish if available. Looked on ebay but couldn't find anything.

Hey Bat, were your sidewinder's raw or polished before you powdercoated them? I'm thinking of these wheels (not powdercoated) for my '97 B/W. Thanks man.

I was about to make a comment about as well. From the links both Phoenixgts and I posted from the Nissan and Audi forums, it was an overwhelming thumbs up from those guys. I was actually surprised when I even posted the idea about doing this, how the majority of you guys gave a thumbs down on the idea. Whatever the case, I Love it! :nana:

Looks great! :2tu:

What's the cost on doing that?

powdercoating starts at about $55-$65. I paid extra to have them pickup my wheels with tires, have them dismounted for powdercoating, clearcoat over powdercoat, remount the tires and tps and delivery them to me. 2 day turnaround in my case ;) . $650.
