brake help

I know this has been beaten to death, but I need a little help. There are two companies on Ebay that are selling cross drilled and slotted rotors. They are Irotors and Quick Stop Pro. Does anybody have any experience with either of these companies? I do a couple of track days per year, but mostly street. I don't want to upgrade to SRT brakes because there is no going back and the resale issue worries me.

I never used the rotors you mentioned but I think Sean Roe sells a two-piece Gen I&II rotor.

I just did a brake job on my car and had to replace the rotors. I went with OEM rotors. The only real benefit you'll get from the drilled and slotted rotor is looks. most of the ones on ebay are cheap and I wouldn't be surprised if there quality was cheap too... the slots eat pads, so unless you like dirty wheels and changing pads that's an issue.

I got ebc rotors. red stuff for the front pads and green stuff for the rear. havent tried them out yet. just got them.

Yes, mine are fried. Track days at Road Atlanta do them in quick. At $345 for all four rotors from the companies mentioned above, they seem to be worth changing out once a year. I don't know what OEM ones cost, but they must be at least that much. I am not looking for a whole lot better braking, the stock ones are pretty good.

You should be able to pick up some stock take offs for the cost of shipping.

Performance rotors should last a bit longer because of better cooling properties.

DO NOT BUY THE DRILLED ROTORS! At least not the cheapies. See the picture below, they will crack from the middle hole. I have just replace mine with slotted rotors. I also have a set of almost new stockers(F&R) I'll sell for $25 per rotor.

chucks right, if you're going to the track and run hard you can benefit from quality drilled and slotted rotors, just don't waste your time/money on ebay, buy quality products from people like roe, etc that will stand by them.

VIPERs are expensive, so are the parts, don't cheap on your car.
