Rons guess:

#1 - Look west down the Black River from the Military Street bridge. The bank is on your left, Zebra Bar and bowling alley is on your right and you can barely see parts of the 7th Street bridge in the background. In mid-July they have the Port Huron to Mackinac sailboat race with about 200 sailboats and this river is packed. It's like Mardi Gras for a night. They estimate about 100,000 people come to see the boats.

#2 - Looking east across the St. Clair River from the Thomas Edison Inn or the park along the riverfront. You're just south of the Blue Water Bridge and the casino in Sarnia is in the background of the photo. A beautiful place to enjoy the river.

#3 - Unsure, but not in Port Huron because the expressway only has two lanes there. I-94 goes to 3 lanes in the northern Detroit suburbs (23 Mile Road, Chesterfield) so likely somewhere in the Detroit area.

#4 - View of the Blue Water Bridges at night from the Edison Inn. Gorgeous.

#5 - No real clue. Possibly the walkway at Detroit Metropolitan airport or Somerset mall.

#6 - I-94 exit at 8 Mile as you enter (or leave) Detroit.

I didn't have the time to take a Viper factory tour! Just a drive by. It was still fun to see the area where my car was built. Michigan is FLAT. I was expecting more hills for some reason. The weather was HOT. Same temp when I left South Carolina as it was in southern Michigan and northern Ohio, about 91 degrees. The 'Detroit trucks' were unreal! 42 wheeler???? I can see one of these stopping in the Wal-mart (Meijers?) service dept. for a tire rotation!

No prizes. I'm saving up for another Viper!

not all of mich is flat the northern areas traverse city, petosky, and the u.p. have lots of elevation changes. the large AJAX truck is not the norm those are specialized asphalt hauling equiptment, they have a "live bottom" that feeds the asphalt out of the truck/trailer without need a dumping type bed.

Dude, I forgot what home looked like. I grew up down there and this really brought it home. Ambassador bridge and the tunnel. Those low bridges and *** holed roads of I 95 really bring back my childhood days. Thanks for the memories!

Looks like you where down by Cobo Hall and the Detroit river.

p.s Upper Michigan around Indian River and Wolverine have awesome rolling hills that where made for cruising, they are dream roads for cruising in the summertime!

Yes on #5! They should put a warning going into that tunnel. If you are prone to epileptic seizures, please do not use the tunnel! It felt like I was on Fremont in Vegas.
