The prior issue of RACER also had a full-page story on Tommy / Cinjo. Tommy is a great ambassador for VIPER and D-C. And D-C does NOT apparently officially help that team. {note-no Viper logo.......car not RED]
The Pac-NW VCA was proud to host Tommy, Team Owner Joe Tranjida, and Tommy's daughter, to dinner on the night of his Trans Am victory in Portland. When asked how he felt: "I feel like Ive Been Shot" with pain from 2 broken and 2 cracked ribs.....but he stayed for 2 hours and visited every person (35) individually before he left!
Coincidently, PAC-NW VCA member Chuch Shaffer owns and races Tommy's last Dodge Trans-Am ride from 1992-1993 !
