Congratulations!! to Dan Spata!! of St. Charles Il. for his successful 2003 racing season.

Dan drove his SVS prepared Viper with great skill, while competing in the many events held by the IL. V.C.A.

Dan took top honors in many events including:

“The Triple Crown” (sponsored by Roanoake Motors) – A combination of road racing, drag racing and autocross combined. Way to go Dan!

“The Longest Day” – Another compact competition that tested the rigors of road racing, autocross and drag racing. Your the Man!

Dan also scored the highest amount of points over the season!

These events are very competitive and give everyone the chance to win, even if your Viper isn’t modified.

Dan told me early in the season that: “I really want to win these events in memory of my good friend Bill Braun. (IL V.C.A. friend and fellow racer who recently passed away)

I’m sure you will cherish this for a long time!

Way to GO! Dan

Wow now I've seen it all on this board  It's one thing to congradulate someone for a great season, but to come on and toot your own horn, wow you got more ballz than brains

Mike...You gotta be reading more into this than i am. SVSI has been around longer than you have been either a registered viper owner or board member. Why don't you come out to ****** run next weekend so we can congratulate you after you spank all those vipers / vettes in the NASA viper
vette challange series.

I dont doubt that they are a great shop, but I never once in my life have seen a tuner come on any board and congradulate themselves for a job well done. I think you should let your customers do that imo. When was the last time you saw a post saying Congrats mr X for running a great time and congrats to me and my shop for building this car

Maybe if you gave kudos to that little blue pill you took last night you'd understand why tuners like to show off their accomplishments.

showing off your accomplishments is one thing but congradulating yourself is just plain stupid. I've been on car forums for about 4 years now, and never have I read a post like that from a proffesional tuner patting his own back. Just my opinion packet you dont have to agree to it, just like I dont have to agree to yours ;) I wish I can get my hands on that blue pill, there are a few girls I want to............... :p

Dan told me to put this on the web so SVS would get recognition for helping him. He is a great supporter of SVS and we are more than happy for his accomplishments. :)

He does'nt spend his time on the internet, he told me he is too busy winning.

Congratulations again to Dan Spata driving his SVS prepared Viper.

I wear many hats at SVS - Driver, trying to be the PR person, production manager, janitor and whatever I can help with. I don't come anywhere near running the Show....Yet. It's my daddies business :D

Sorry it is coming from me, maybe someday I will have someone to do internet promotion and that will be the happiest day of my life!

this svs turbo place is not congratulating themselves. if u read there post they are congratulating one of there customers who obviously should be congratulated for a job well done of driving. btw, all u guys who wanna bash somebody who is doing better than u are pathetic. i have seen way to many people on this forum trying to discredit this svs turbo place 4 smoking the competition with less boost than u think they should be running and all of u wanna be racers call them a liar. who cares? what difference does it make wether they ran 8 lbs. of boost or 20 lbs. of boost they still won. are u guys sore losers or what? correct me if i am wrong but did they cheat or break some kind of rule? if u think u can do better than them then quit talking about and prove it. talk is cheap and there is only 1 winner and like em or not they are the ones to beat. and in my book that deserves respect. btw, congratulations dan spata, looks like that svs turbo place helped make u a winner. lol!!!

I never took offense - a customer won a racing series - that's newsworthy - and thanks for posting!
