Steve, Lately I have read alot of books on braking and the crossdrilling or slotted rotors....from everything I have read slotted are better and now what our entire race team (snake Pit) here in NJ, we are using all slotted rotors....

There's going to be a better rotor option available for the Viper soon. You'll be happier if you wait a couple weeks.

How's that for a teaser?

Steve:

I think that the Auto Specialty is cross drilling stock factory rotors. This will help cool the rotor better (and help drainage in the rain), but will shorten the rotor life significantly. As you know, the design of the stock Viper rotor is pretty limited in the cooling department.

If you want an alternative that is technically superior, you need to call Stop Tech. Their rotors are going to cool significantly better, while lasting longer than anything Auto Specialty will give you. It is also less expensive than the Auto Specialty.

I hope that his helps. Good luck and Happy New Years.
