I would say it is a very good possibility. For instance, I just finished a Viper repair that was bumped on the right front corner. Not as bad a hit as yours looks to be. The estimator was unable to see anything under the headlights or behind the front cover because everything is enclosed. Being a Viper with the cost of the parts, the estimate was sizable to start with. Once I started dissassembly I found more costly repairs were needed. For example, the support for the radiator also is the support for the headlights and the sides of the front fasia. It is a one piece fiber support. This piece was broke under the headlight assembly. Part cost plus labor increased bill $1000.00. Your snake has a lot of possible hidden damage, being possible frame and or suspension damage. Once a Viper or any car for that matter has had frame damage it never seems to be the same afterward.

?? Then you are not fixing the frame properly. I have repaired many full frame and unibody construction and never had a problem. In fact full frames are much easier to get back to OEM specs then unibodies as they can be sectioned aft the crumple zones.

Dans auto is correct. The Vipers are easy, if you can say that, to restore to factory specs from frame damage, at least as it pertains to a front stub or a rear stub.

Two guys here in town have wiped out the front end of their Vipers frame and all. Just cut the front stub off and weld a new stub in place, a surface plate helps but in no way is it required. The Viper has some very easy points to remove the front stub from. Vipers are very much like our racecars in that aspect. I've heard of guys having their Viper frame "bent" back into place on a frame machine, that is a very incorrect way to repair frame damage on a Viper.

I would much rather have a full frame car than a unibody car. Especially if you are fixing frame damage.
