Did Connor Ave ever paint a viper motor Steel Gray?

Check this out. Guy is claiming he ordered the Viper with the motor painted the same color as the car. What do you think?

Not that i recall. You might want to contact JonB the Viper God...I would ask for some sort of documentation that this was done at the factory..

No mention of it in the Viper Registry or Maurice Liangs book. I highly doubt the factory did it. Plus the powder coating work doesn't look that great.

When I was looking for my GTS last year about this time there was one like this for sale on ebay. I think it went through twice and didn't sell I do not recall anything bieng said about the paint job on the engine being done at the factory.

300 rpm idle? Damn, think about all the gas I would save, mine idles at double that.

What a dork. I wish there was a button on those things where legitimate Ebayers with high enough score could push it, and it says "[*****]" then after 30 or so people do it, the advert gets pulled. Kinda like allowing us to police ourselves, since ebay does such a horrible job of it. Its not really a scam, but the guy is lying or is just the biggest idiot on the face of the earth.

Because I put ACR 5 point harnesses in my 2000 GTS, the guy who bought it was trying to sell it AS an ACR. You gotta do your research.
