mjr, If you haven't changed the rear end fluid yet I'd do so and see if the noise changes? Don't forget to add the Limited Slip Additive!

You can also get the "chatter" if the additive ratio is a little low. Add about 1/2 of another little bottle of it and I'll bet you're ok.

I agree.........Dealer probably shorded a you a bit of antislip. If forgotten altogether, you whould have a moaning monstor.....
