I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to launch my supercharged Viper at a drag race on street tires.

I have heared about guys who switch directly from 1st gear to 3rd gear. The top speed increases but the time gets bad kind of: 11.6/140.

What would happen if launch gently in 2nd gear ?

How should I setup my suspension in front and rear ?

If you have stock gearing, I would launch just above idle, short shift to 2nd when your boost comes up and you loose traction. Smoothly shift to 3rd and hang on for the ride of your life, and power down the track in 4th.
If running run flats, do not reduce air pressure, as it will only cause you to reduce contact in the middle of your tires.

The Run Flat tire patch is ALWAYS smaller than the same brand in a non runflat.

That is why regular Vettes use runflats and Z06 do not, Cornering limits are also reduced.
