Driver\'s Door Speakers Stopped Working....
Tonight, while driving to a cruise night, the driver's door speakers stopped working. I have removed the big speaker, and it was plugged in. However, the 2000 Service Manual is not correct..calling for two amps in a 2000, so I am a bit suspect as to how correct the wiring diagram is pertaining to the speakers. In fact, the step by step diagnostic part is also mentioning two amps..so this is also of little use. I am wondering if the leads to the big speaker first pass through the tweeter, and that maybe there is a capacitor, etc, that may have quit on the tweeter or crossover.(If there is one) Before I pull the inside door panel off to investage further...is there anything else I should try? Thanks!
