e-brake boot problem

Anybody else have a problem with the e-brake boot constantly coming up when you use it? The little metal tabs keep bending and I think one snapped off. Anyone solved this problem?

Mine used to do that but I was able to fix it w/o having one of the tabs break. I removed the center console and bent everything right and no problems since.

I think Sake Oyl sells replacement boots, which I suppose come with the metal frame. Really no way to fix the frame if tabs are broke off of it.
