Engine Check Light Problem Tracked Down

My Equus 3100 Code Reader says I have a P0208 - Injector #8 output driver stage does not respond correctly to the control signal.

My Viper Tech and I will be installing the MSD Boost Retard box tomorrow and also will hopefully fix Injector #8.

I had the same problem with injector #7. Sean told me a few others experienced injector issues with the new setup. A little contact cleaner and it was as good as new.

I also had a problem with #7 after install, just pushed ******* he plug and now works fine.

Chrysler's injector plugs are the only ones I know of that don't have a retaining clip on them. The slot is there, but the metal clip is not. Certainly doesn't help matters when you just installed 10 new injectors.

gen1 has them i ordered gen1 clips for both of my gen2s they fit its not really needed with factory manifolds but with Seans setup its good assurance as you no longer have viewable access

When having the bad connection is the check engine light on ?

your Pcm will read it as a misfire or no signal to a specific inj. and yes it will set the light
