Get one. Pep Boys has some for about 70 bucks for the cheap kind. Worth it for the peace of mind alone. Most techs have no idea of what is going on. They read the code. You can do the same thing. Easy to do. Emissions is/are 02 sensors. If you know the code and have someone else do any maintenance work on the vehicle, they wont run up the price as you put up a good knowledge of the problem quickly. If you walk in blind, they will kill you.

Hang on to that ACR. Baby that car. It will be worth alot some day. From one owner to another. One of the rarest combos out there.

Im in the same boat as you, but im almost POSITIVE its my 02 sensors :) I removed my cats about 2 weeks ago and put about 250 miles on the car with no problems or CES lights. In traffic last week the light came on. Im going to have the car scanned just in case but it looks like ill have to get those 02 sims now.

If you have a 99' (according to your sig) and did a cat delete without adding the sims, yep, thats your problem

Close with at least 3-4 clicks otherwise you can throw the old "evaporative emissions" code.

WRONG! I have a '99 with no cats and NO sims. I have put over 500 miles on the car and still no light. Go to Autozone and get the code to know.
