You can get a much better sound with a Borla system. But this system seems to rob you of HP.

I have heard great systems simply using glass-packs.

If you are looking for a race car sound call SVSi, TNT and so on. They all make great stuff.

Before you buy, you might want to hear the systems for yourself. What I like you may not like, and so forth.

You might be able to get a deal on stuff through our classified section. Used is always cheaper.

Good luck, everyone will now tell you that they have the best. Go with what you like!

Dan Vargus has been hard at work determining the "best" combination. He wants to have his cake (HP) and eat it (sound) too. I joined his quest about a month ago.

Facts: Aside from horrendous, migrane-inducing, neighberhood rocking noise, Straight thru systems ROB both Gen-1 and Gen-II of potential HP and Torque. But rob from where? Sure, they develop more HP than stock.....but you "overflow" the big V-10 air pump, and LOSE HP and torque in the process. And, can sound obnoxious. You can have a good sounding, head-turning, musclecar sound, and still be emissions-legal, (or not) but you DON'T have to lose HP to do it !

The best balance on HIGHLY-modified motors is a 3" system, that STILL delivers some backpressure. (ORECA LeMans GTS-R uses 3.5") But the best system, HP, sound, and bang-for-buck, for a lightly-modified motor is still a 2.5" system, (at least for PART of the system!)

We have two of our own customers, plus Dan, in "Beta-testing" right now on a system very very common in racing, where decibel levels are highly policed. (Race teams KNOW DBs....have one DB too many, and you are "GONE".)

That said, if you want to talk, please E-me, or call me. My number is in every Viper magazine.
