I bought one of these that claimed to fit my car... it was actually for an '08 Viper. I thought the '08s and '09s were the same? Anyways the green website states '08 only and it appears that is really made for the Mazda RX-8. I tried to install it but found that it was about 1/4" too thick and I couldn't get the filter clamped back into the intake box thingy:confused:

Has anyone installed a Green filter successfully in a 2009? Is it worth the $70 to do so? I know that there's a very long K&N topic in the SRT forum but thought I'd ask here re: Green.

Thanks!

that's what I've heard... I've also heard 5-10? for $70 it's a cheap mod if you get even 1HP... for motorcycles and cars it seems like I spend roughly $100 for 1HP increase... what can I get for $37:)

We had the Green air filters in our 2005, but we're sticking with the stock filter on our 2009...it's simply made 'just right' for the car. In fact, the whole car is staying stock...exhaust is perfect...we only swapped out the stock shifter for a short-throw. ENJOY! ~juli
