Just got the 3" Corsa delivered today. Them is some FINE looking tips. Beautifully polished and BIG. Instructions look fairly easy. Need to get 1000 miles on my car, dyno it, then try to install them, then dyno again.

I don't have a lift (yet), so if any of you have installed them without a lift, how high do I need to get the car? I have used 2 ramps in the front and 2 hydraulic jacks in the back, which gets it up 9". Is that high enough? Thanks.

Yeah, they certainly are gorgeous tips! That's one of the first things we noticed when unpacking our first 3" Corsa kit! I think you'll be impressed when you fire it up the first time. It sounds great!
In terms of car height, I'd say you'd need about 1.5' or so to safely (and sanely) do it. Remember, you'll be working in pretty tight quarters near the front of the differential, so you need plenty of moving room.
If you don't have the ability to get it to 1.5' or so, it may be time to trust your baby to a good installation shop. Figure a couple hours to get everything installed and tested.
Have fun!

Love those gorgeous tips....I installed my Corsa system over the weekend and did it with the car sitting on stands about 24" off the ground. I wouldn't want to do it any lower than that. Installation was easy and everything fit well, but you need that room to maneuver the rear section into place. I haven't started the car yet, its still on the stands, I've some other work to do on it..... but can't wait to hear the new sound.

I just got done wrestling my 3 inch CORSA system into place, and am going to wait until tomorrow to tighten everything up. My car is up on the shortest adjustment of jack stands which is only about a foot, and it seems to have worked fine. I am taking off a 2.5 inch CORSA system to install the 3 inch.

It's certainly taking me longer then Bill's 2 hours, by the time I count jacking up the car, taking the rear wheels/tires off, removing the old system, piecing the new system together, and jockying it into place. Maybe with a lift and a few installs under my belt, I'd be at two hours....

The corsa is an AWESOME system. The 2 hours quoted is if you have a lift (i think). Mine went on like cake and is 100% superb. Those tips are unreal arent they. Thats the best part about the system. And yes, the interior resonance goess away.

Thanks Frank for posting those pics, a picture is worth a thousand words; and it's best for me to just say they are the DB's. (They make me want to touch and polish them!)
